Job Position : Electrician – Crane Electrical
Location : Saudi Arabia
Contract : 2 Years
Job Purpose :
To maintain and restore cranes in the plant, ensuring optimum crane/plant availability and quality for production with minimal maintenance cost. This includes both planned and unplanned electrical maintenance activities, ensuring that cranes function in compliance with operating standards and meet production requirements.
Job Responsibilities :
- Execute electrical maintenance activities and follow-up on crane maintenance plans to ensure equipment availability.
- Apply electrical maintenance quality programs for the smooth operation of cranes and to maintain equipment health.
- Assess defects and determine whether to repair or replace equipment to ensure the continuous operation of the plant.
- Perform emergency diagnostics and repairs when necessary to meet operational needs.
- Report abnormal observations to senior colleagues for corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with the next shift to ensure proper handover of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Adhere to company safety and HSE procedures and report any concerns.
Qualifications : Technical School Graduate or Electrical/Electronic Diploma.
Minimum Experience : 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Job Specific Skills :
- Knowledge of plant equipment, processes, and electrical equipment, especially in steel plant equipment and EOT cranes.
- Understanding of safety procedures and standards.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong conflict management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with a multi-cultural workforce.
