Repairman – Slide Gate

 Job Responsibilities :

Technical Operations :

• Follow verbal/written instructions and use required materials/tools for executing tasks.
• Inspect and ensure availability of consumable refractory materials, spare parts, and mechanisms, requesting arrangements when necessary.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of ladles, steel pots, and slag pots, removing metal and slag with oxygen lances and tools.
• Prepare and inspect ladles (new/circulating/standby) according to SOP standards, including refractory condition, IPV purging pressure, and mechanism functionality.
• Replace or repair refractory materials and mechanisms to maintain operational readiness.
• Conduct maintenance of fluid control systems, tundish, and auto purging mechanisms.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, tools, and work areas after job completion.
• Adhere to safety, environment, and quality protocols and report any non-compliance issues.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations without production delays.
• Collect and finalize operational data for reporting and performance measurement.
