Job Position : Slag Dumb Truck Operator
Location : Saudi Arabia
Contract : 2 Years
Job Purpose :
To operate Slag Pot Carrier equipment for efficient and safe molten slag handling activities. Ensure smooth and safe slag pot handling, traveling, and dumping while maintaining high reaction time and emotional stability.
Job Responsibilities :
Molten Slag Handling Operation:
- Conduct pre-use inspections of the Slag Pot Carrier equipment.
- Validate communication with HSE team via TMR and maintain smooth communication with the team.
- Ensure safe slag handling and dump operations, responding to emergencies or abnormalities as per SOP.
- Record operational data and equipment status for review by supervisors.
- Report equipment malfunctions and assess slag pot conditions.
- Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance for smooth operation.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment:
- Follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Adhere to all operational and safety standards during slag handling.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:
- Follow relevant policies and procedures to ensure controlled operations.
Related Assignments:
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications :
- Higher Secondary School graduation.
- Technical Diploma (preferred).
Minimum Experience : 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Job Specific Skills :
- Excellent reaction time, mental capacity, equipment handling, and physical strength.
- Knowledge in molten slag handling and equipment operation.
- Understanding of safety and environmental standards.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in teams or independently.
- Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (preferred).
